Beer is Art. From the Outside In. - Collective Arts Brewing
Ontario's Collective Arts Brewing now available in CT!
Celebrating their third anniversary this month, Collective Arts was born out of a love for creativity, a desire to inspire creativity, and an interest in providing exposure for the local arts community. Each one of their craft brews showcases local artists, musicians, or filmmakers on a rotating basis and serves as a masterpiece of the senses - from the tasty beer inside, to the artfully crafted label, to the music or film or canvas it promotes. What's more - their labels are linked to the Blippar mobile app which allows you to hear soundbites of their music, view clips of their film, or view their portfolio and bio - all while you're standing in front of the beer cooler!
Rest assured, the liquid inside the bottle is certainly an art form in it of itself. Collective Arts works closely with Carpenter Family Farms, a family owned and operated hop farm in the Yakima Valley that dates back five generations to source the best varieties of hops for each of their craft brews. Hey, hops are art too! Their Rhyme & Reason depends on a combination of Citra, Centennial, Simcoe, and Chinook for an intensely hoppy, yet mildly bitter session XPA, while the wildly aromatic Ransack the Universe gets its signature character from the use of Mosaic, among others. Based on the thumbs up these guys are receiving on Ratebeer and Beer Advocate, there's no doubt that these guys deserve to be called artists themselves.
Just in time for their third birthday, they are expanding into Massachusetts and Connecticut which makes us really excited! We'll be rolling out Ransack the Universe and Rhyme & Reason to bars and stores near you, so don't go too far. And be sure to keep an eye on our events page for launch parties and tastings in the weeks ahead!
